When it comes to taste your chocolate bars, few steps have been described to maximize your experience.  This ritual is by no means a fixed list of steps, but it certainly will help you learn all aspects of each bar, as well as enjoy it to the max.
First, look at the chocolate bar.  What color is it?  Is it uniform or tempered?... Then snap the chocolate: Can you hear a clear snap?  The snap is usually an expression of a well-tempered bar.  Third, smell the chocolate... Do you feel any aromas? and lastly, taste
  • Take a small piece in your mouth
  • Chew just a little
  • Allow the chocolate to melt slowly
  • Evaluate the texture and melt of the chocolate
  • Notice flavor development from beginning to the end

Here is a table that can help you write notes about each chocolate you taste.
