Castronovo Dark Chocolate - Maya Mountain Belize

Denise Castronovo, our friend and neighbor Floridian, is the creator of this unique chocolate that you must try. Based in Stuart, FL (United States of America), she creates all its fantastic chocolate bars and truffles in a small chocolate factory.

The cacao comes from the Maya Mountains' foothills in Belize, native Mayans were the first to commercialize cacao. The tradition remains to this day. In the most formidable and arduous cacao cooperative project ever, Maya Mountain Cacao proves that growing cacao within a diversified agroforestry farm provides a sustainable alternative to slash-and-burn agriculture. The cooperative has raised family earnings and enabled greater school enrollment. This is what we mean by The Goodness of Life!

Using its classic packaging that highlights this chocolate's finesse from the exclusive "Signature Collection" and showcasing the Heirloom Cacao origin and the world's Silver medal from the 2016 International Chocolate Awards.
