Our 72% BELIZE Dark Chocolate is handcrafted using exceptional cacao from Maya Mountain Cacao in the Toledo district of southern Belize. This multi award-winning bar contains just two ingredients - cacao and cane sugar - highlighting the true flavors of the cacao. By using some of the best chocolate in the world and traditional European techniques, we are able to eliminate fillers like added cocoa butter, soy lecithin or vanilla. This allows the mild yet complex flavors of the cacao to shine through, with floral and dried fruit notes that challenge and inspire the palate. The cacao is sourced from a smallholder producer network that prioritizes not only the quality of the cacao, but also the quality of life for local Mayan farmers.
